Jukka founded our firm in 1984 as a newly qualified lawyer after completing his court training at the Kotka City Court. His long career has given him extensive experience in assisting companies and private individuals before courts and arbitral tribunals. In addition to court proceedings, his strengths include employment law and company law matters, including mergers and acquisitions and corporate arrangements, as well as family and inheritance law assignments. Jukka is particularly drawn to demanding court proceedings.

Jukka completed his LL.M. degree at the Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana, USA, in 1994. His studies and LL.M. thesis focused on contract law and, in particular, international dispute resolution and arbitration under international agreements.

One client once commented that Jukka has only taken a short course in diplomacy. Jukka is widely regarded as a skilled and uncompromising court advocate and a firm defender of his clients’ interests.
